By using GhostMe (the app, website, or related services), you agree to these terms.
The service
GhostMe lets a host create a chat, share a link, set how long the window stays open, and ghost the chat when done. There are no GhostMe accounts. Power is asymmetric: the host controls expiry and ghosting. If you open someone else’s invite, they control that chat.
Subscriptions
Creating may require an Apple subscription (for example a free trial that converts to a yearly plan, or a weekly plan). Purchases and Restore Purchases are handled by Apple. Refunds are governed by Apple’s policies.
Acceptable use
- Do not use GhostMe for illegal activity, abuse, harassment, exploitation, or to harm minors.
- Do not attempt to break, scrape, or overload the service.
- Do not impersonate others or misrepresent who controls a chat.
No permanent tether
When a chat is ghosted or expires, access ends. There is no promise of permanent history or a way for the other person to re-open contact through GhostMe without a new invite from a host.
Disclaimers
GhostMe is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted service. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for what people say to each other in chats.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
