Support

GhostMe is for short chats with someone you only need for a while, like a buyer or seller from an online marketplace or a new acquaintance. Create a chat, share a link, and ghost it when you're done. GhostMe is for people 18 and over.

Quick help

• Create a chat on your phone. This phone is the host. No account.
• Share the link by AirDrop, QR code, or copy link. Your new acquaintance opens it in the app or on the web, with no sign-up. No number. No handle.
• You're the host. Set a timer and a Participant Limit, then ghost the chat when you're done. A chat with no timer ends when you ghost it, or 30 days after the last message.
• No tether. Once you ghost someone, they can't get back into that chat.
• Received an invite? The host controls that chat.

Safety

• You can report a single message in the app, or a whole chat in the app or on the web. We review every report within 24 hours. Reports are kept for 30 days.
• Block: if you opened someone's link in the app, tap "Block this host" to stop that host from reaching you.
• Remove: hosts can remove anyone with "Remove from chat".
• Leave: if you opened someone's link, tap "Leave this chat" at any time.

We have zero tolerance for abuse. If someone is in danger, contact your local emergency services first.

Delete your data

Ghosting a chat deletes it from our servers. To ask us to delete anything else, email support@ghostmeapp.com and include the chat link if you have it.

Subscriptions and Restore

GhostMe Plus is sold by Apple. To restore it on a new phone or after reinstalling, go to Settings > GhostMe Plus > Restore purchases in the app. To cancel, go to your iPhone's Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple; you can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
