Privacy policy

GhostMe (“we,” “us”) helps you create temporary chats with strangers without tying them to your contact identity. This policy explains what we collect and why.
What GhostMe is
GhostMe has no accounts. The host phone owns the chat: expiry and ghosting. Strangers open a link; when a chat is ghosted, access ends.
Information we process
- Chat content. Messages you send in a live chat are delivered so the chat can work. When a chat ghosts or expires, that chat’s content is removed from our systems as designed for the product.
- Invite links. We store what is needed to open a chat from a link until the chat ghosts or expires.
- Device and purchase signals. On iOS we use Apple frameworks for push notifications (if you allow them) and for StoreKit subscriptions / Restore Purchases. We do not run a GhostMe account login.
- Diagnostics. Limited technical logs may be kept briefly to keep the service reliable and secure.
What we do not do
- We do not require an email, phone number, or social handle to use GhostMe.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not use chat content for advertising.
Third parties
Apple processes payments and may process push delivery. Our hosting and realtime providers process technical data needed to run chats. Those providers act under their own terms when they are independent controllers.
Children
GhostMe is not directed at children under 13. Do not use the app if you are under 13.
